If you have never visited Andorra try to imagine this... lush green valleys... a country hidden from the rest of the world... yet it's only a short drive from some of Europe's hottest cities. It's a secret valley still ruled by a real prince that's been overlooked for centuries.
It's picturesque, unregulated, inexpensive. And best of all, there are no personal taxes.

Andorra is cosmopolitan. More than two thirds of all residents living here are wealthy, self made foreigners, most of who moved to Andorra because they were fed up with government red tape and destructive bureaucracy. Crime is unheard of and the adult literacy rate is 100%.

Tourism is by far Andorra's biggest earner accounting for more than 80% of GDP.
For 715 years Andorrans lived under a unique co-principality, ruled by French and Spanish leaders. In 1993, this feudal system was modified with the titular heads of state retained, but the government transformed into a parliamentary democracy that achieved considerable prosperity since World War II through its tourist industry, attracting many immigrants to the thriving economy with its lack of income taxes.

To encourage immigration by high net worth individuals the Government offers Passive Residence Permits, which are subject to a quota which is determined periodically according to the "economic and social needs of the Principality of Andorra".
